Finally, finally, I’ve got a new blog. If you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know that this one was created purely to document 52 Suburbs Around the World, which finished up in 2013. After that I got busy working as a freelance photographer – a dream come true, but it also meant I had little time to devote to much else. So I’ve been posting random things on here ever since.
Well, not anymore! This year I made a promise to myself to carve out the time to develop a new website and a new blog. And it’s done. If you have time, please head over to louisehawson.com and have a look.
I’m also kicking off the new blog with a new project called 52 Journeys, Australia – the first few posts are already up of our journey to the Snowy Mountains to see the brumbies. It isn’t a weekly blog, far from it, so please subscribe so you won’t miss any updates (if you’re subscribed to this blog, you’ll have been automatically transferred already).
Aside from the blog, you’ll also find on the new website my portfolio of commercial and personal work, as well as an online shop where I’m making some of my favourite images available as limited edition prints.
I feel a bit emotional at the thought that this is the last post on this blog – I’ve loved every single moment hanging out here. But I’m also pretty excited about the new website and blog. Hope you like it too.
So, see ya 52suburbs.com, you’ve been tops, and hello louisehawson.com!
